Body Modification & BTS Jungkook....Reason To Worry!!! Or Not!!!
HEY IT'S 2022 AND I FAILED TO PUBLISH THIS BACK IN 2019...GOSH A LOT HAS HAPPENED TO ME AND THEM. I STILL WANT TO PUT IT UP BECAUSE THE MAN KEEPS TATTOOING AND NOW HE IS PIERCING STUFF...AND THERE ARE REPORTS HE HAS ADDITIONAL PIERCINGS TO COME!!!
Recently, after watching a video of BTS' latest concert in Ridayh, Saudi Arabia, and all of the praise BTS has been receiving for tailoring their performance to be respectful of the countries cultural norms, one questions arose in my mind. When did Jungkook start tattooing himself up, in order to have a succession on his arm requiring a body sleeve to cover them?

I am going to take you on a educational journey or sorts, that also encompass my concerns so please stay with me. I only hope I do this topic justice!
*********Personality - according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary is defined as (1) the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individuals distinctive characters.
When defined in terms of psychology, it is the combination of behaviors, emotions, motivations, and thought patterns that define an individual.
We've seen plenty of examples were Jungkook's personality may have been stunted by his early entry inot the entertainment industry, and couple that with the absence of his parents being there for him in the physical, and being raised so to speak by his own hand, the hands of his members, the CEO of BigHit and the numerous staff. If you want to make a comparative link to what I'm getting at, then look at these other entertainers who entered the industry young and may not have had the support they needed to keep from spiraling. (These are American entertainers mostly...my apologies) For instance David Cassidy (famous from that t.v. show The Partridge Family as well as a teen idol singer from the 70's), Micahel Jackson (famed member of the Jackson 5 and crowned the King of Pop, after debuting the Moonwalk, yup that Michael Jackson. There will honestly never be another, don't even think of it!), Brittany Spears (famous for the school uniform "oh baby, baby..." and the Mickey Mouse Club with others like Christina Aguilar, Justin Timberlake, and more), ***Chris Brown (you all know him, the cutie pie turned into a monster by media for the assault of former girlfriend Rihanna, the drug usage and numerous other allegations of assault and run-in's with the law), G-Dragon (famed member of Big Bang, whose had his own issues with the Korean Media over drugs, etc.), Jay Park (famed former 2PM member under JYP Ent., ousted for comments made about Korean people, but would still rise from the ashes to become famous rapper and owner of AMOG Ent.), Hyuna (former 4 Minutes member, former artist on Cube Ent. Label, dating scandel be damned...lol), Post Malone (what is going on with the face tattooes...came out of nowhere...and his father wants him to stop it) and fellow member Park Jimin (famous for extreme dieting, beautiful dancing and vocals and of couse the questions of is it or isn't real tattoo "Nevermind" across his rib cage...which I believe is not real but he continues to have it put on his body for performances in which he sometimes shows off this area. If I had to guess, it came from the song Suga wrote called "Never Mind," off of 'The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Part 2.'
All of the artist mentioned entered the entertainment industry in their respective countries at a very young age and debuted young with or without formal training, on how to navigate media, and the constant 'praise' or 'judgement' of people - fans and non-fans. What that must do to a young mind?
So lets talk about this term..."Handlers" - think of the word, and you will or should liken it to the terms 'Manager(s)' or 'Overseer(s).' No matter what country, these men and women supervise the lives of the artist/celebrity/entertainer they are paid to look after. However, they are more visible in the Korean Entertainment Industry. In Korea, they are quicker to issue statements in regards to the artist/entertainers life i.e. dating issues, financial issues, family issues, health issues, anything that is considered a scandal and garnering much public attention and concern. In American you will not find this very much. Celebrities here in America, will not have Entertainment companies i.e. recording labels issuing statements on their behalf or taking legal action against malicious commenters found on social media outlets. Entertainment companies in America, don't care how their artist are romantically involved with, what issues the artist family members may be involved in, or any legal issues surrounding the artist. They don't care because, they are emotionally invested in the artist like Korean Entertainment companies are. American Companies don't recruit, feed, train and turn out a product they found at the tender age of 10, 11, 12 years old. Therefore, they can cut ties with an artist before the next album release. American companies are only into an artist for the revenue they can generate for them...sad but true. It's up to the artist to save themself if they get involved in anything that could cancel their career...again, look back at those earlier celbrities I named...i.e. Chris Brown, Brittany Spears, Michael Jackson....
There are of course exceptions to the rule when information on artist are leaked or published to the masses. Most of these updates come from Attorney's representing the artist/celebrities/entertainer who give statements to news outlets in situations of death and the rare occurence of divorce or other legal concerns. Otherwise, news comes out in the form of the so-called 'Insider' or 'Hangers-on' as I like to refer to them.
*****Hangers-on is defined as a person who associates with another person or a group in a sycophantic manner or for the purpose of gaining some personal advantage. Ex: Kim Kardashian-West was a hangers-on to Paris Hilton before she became famous...."Paris Hilton, gave me my career, a sextape did not make me famous." Huh, the jury is not even out on that one...lol (Google Ray-J x Kim Kardashian if you don't know). Kato Kaitlin...remember him (probably not) he was the renter who lived in the home of Nicole Brown-Simpson (she was allegedly killed by famed former NFL husband O.J. Simpson...he was somewhere in the back of the properties guest house when it happened...ha!), and lets not forget Karrueche Tran (former girlfriend to Chris Brown, who parlayed her relationship into an acting career, cosmetics developer career, etc before filing for a restraining order saying her was abusive to her...yeah, I don't believe it!)...and these list go on and on. Oh yeah, these people have also been termed "entourage." Korean celebrities don't have these type of folks around them....their more insulated. The only so-called friends they have are ones in the entertainment industry, at least that is what these guys and girls fandoms are lead to believe. Korean celebrities, don't show up at award shows dragging an entire crew of unknowns with them, that take the stage the minute they win an award....only in American culture, right!!!!! I DIGRESS!!!!
I DON'T KNOW WHAT MY THOUGHTS WERE WHEN I WAS DEEP INTO WRITING THIS IN 2019, BUT FATE BROUGHT ME BACK TO THIS POST...AND SO I JUST WANT TO PUT IT UP WITH IT BEING INCOMPLETE FROM BACK THEM. IF YOU COMMENT ON WHAT I'VE SAID HERE...THAT IS FINE. IF YOU DON'T, THAT IS ALSO FINE. I'VE CHANGED A LOT AND REMAINED THE SAME ABOUT BTS AND IT'S MEMBERS...I STILL LOVE THEM, I'M STILL APART OF THE FANDOM AND STILL ENJOYING EVERYTHING THEY DO MUSIC WISE.
