The comments under the drama led me to believe I'd be getting 50 shades of Japanese 🏯 Grey.... But its just a lamb getting seduced by a wolf... They're practically a pair of swans.
     This is based on Shoujo manga.... & all throughout reading & watching it I was like this is ridiculous. I chuckled through every moment. If you want a no-brainer, silly but pure wish fulfillment wrapped up in semi harlequin realistic looking package📦; then this drama is for you.

At some point I expected fangs to drop down 🧛‍♂️....all foreboding & shrouded past. But nah....he's just a tame controlling possessive CEO 🙄.

 

(Albeit one that sounded like a cheesy pick up lines laden player) 

Ofcourse poor little lamb should have no ideas about independence or self reliance, a stalker takes care of that issue. Never mind guards or watchers, who needs consent or privacy when you can wrap it up in safety concerns.

There's also Mary Sue & harassment brushed under the rug with a consolation ending for the quasi 2nd leads....quasi because the leads never gave them time of day but they were bent on becoming weird anti lovers all on their own.

Just what happens in the minds of Japanese youth 🤔? This will not give you the faintest idea 🤣🤣🤣

   It's not annoying - I'll give it that. It's consistent in how it's written, & typical shoujo traits aside, it's mindless guilty pleasure kinda fun. Do you know how rare it is to find a guy in a Jdorama hot despite Ahjussi wig type or poodle hairstyle? This is one of those. Not bad at all.

Final Verdict : If you have time to kill, you can give it a go 🤷

If the actors & their dynamics from behind the scenes footage translated to on screen drama, then this could have been an 8/10. However the FL remained like bland watery porridge 🥣. Watching this wasn't the best decision I made but it wasn't the worst mistake either. Its fine. If you can ignore the untied threads left open in anticipation of s2, the regular brushing under the rug of harassment & consolation lead couple 👫 then you'll be fine & enjoy it more towards the end than I did

My Takeaway🥡: Man BLK has hot members.... that have some decent acting chops. The class prez guy can get upto no good anytime & I'd sigh.

#ARTHDAL CHRONICLES S3: The Prelude to All Legends
Me thinks its claims are too big for its britches. I've been trashing it non stop for a week now.... I'm sorry I cannot help it 😂 From plot holes of A ferocious Xabara becoming damsel in distress, to the ultimate god Isinaigi, ace card Momo tribe to ultimate reluctant leader Eunsom.... Then there are the love angles. ⏫⏹️⁉️New triangle, rhombus or wut? It's a square.

A bumbling fool that makes other police officers👮 look bad...a single mom with past come knocking at her door who may or may not be the target🎯of a serial killer....I'm getting SWDBS vibes from this & I don't like it. I'm not quite sure if I'll continue watching this.

#FLOWER CREW : JOSEON MARRIAGE MATCHMAKING AGENCY

        Is it the season of bumbling fools who are supposed to be endearingly dumb? Inadequate, fish out of water ... Blah blah blah. I fear that Seo Ji Hoon is being typecasted. I'm just soooo blah about this. Missing brother, ex slave, puppet king, nobles that look frivolous but maybe more.... With seasoning of romcom. Sounds like a classic recipe. If you enjoyed it & are eagerly looking forward to more episodes let me know.

With political fervour baring its teeth, let's bet on who all will die, shall we? Orabeoni of FL is sure shot. Saeja may or may not die... I don't have any faith in YiRim's competence so it's a zilch for me.
Except for Eun Woo's acting, this show has been consistently good. This week to imagine that Hodam & yeongam might live on through their children was creepy... A little shiver inducing. As if they're nothing more than vassels to finish writing an incomplete story. I don't know if we'll get a happy ending with Historian Min's successful apprentice GHR - a friend & ally of King YR ; or dead Min men with GHR x YR as King & Queen of the Kingdom.... Or maybe justice served & revenge taken in an utopic situation?

#THONG EK : THE HERBAL MASTER
   💛💛💛💛💛| 6/10

This has elements of dislike to love, first love shenanigans.... & the quintessential SML of Thailand I guess 😂

Poor guy even acted out the classic rain☔scene to no avail

Anyways, 4 episodes in, not enough conviction of characters or chemistry between them to sustain & ensure my interest till the end. The ML is fake woke, the FL is half an airhead, the brother is more handsome than everyone else combined & as always there's some stupid screaming involved. 

If it weren't for the secondary characters meet cutes I might not have continued 🤷

#ALSO WATCHING - I Wanna Hear Your Song❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️| 7/10
FL continues to be stupid & impulsive - at least she's consistent. But if not for ghosts of dead not ex bf, the events that are unfolding aren't being executed well enough to keep me throughly entertained. I can't believe I want that mildly creepy weird dynamic of the leads back ; now that we're in confrontation & wrap up mode. I'm ambivalent. I'll stick till the end to know clearly about everything, but I sincerely doubt it'll cause any significant change in my opinion.
